Your Eye Sight Matters! Macular Degeneration Awareness Program Cleveland, OH

The Macular Degeneration Association will be returning to beautiful Cleveland, OH on Saturday, August 25th, 2018. The program series is called“Your Eye Sight Matters!”.
The program will be held at the DoubleTree Cleveland-Independence located at 6200 Quarry Ln, Independence, OH 44131
We will be hosting a FREE awareness program covering the following subjects: age-related macular degeneration, diabetic macular edema and genetic testing & AMD.
The program starts at 8:30 a.m. with registration and breakfast and will end at 12:00 p.m.
The Macular Degeneration Association provides a supportive learning environment for people living with macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease.
This half-day program offers a forum to hear from a prominent doctor about the latest research, new treatments, therapies, and clinical trials.
At our programs you will hear from a patient ambassador about their journey with their eye disease and their successful coping strategies.
You will also have the chance to speak with other participants to learn about their successes and failures.
Local vendors will be available to share valuable information..
This program will feature renowned Retina Specialist, Jeremiah Brown, Jr MD. Dr. Brown will be speaking about Age-Related Macular Degeneration: What’s New? and Diabetic Macular Edema and my Eyes.
Greg Hines- will be speaking about Genetic Testing & AMD.
Dr. Brown practice’s at the Brown Retina Institute in  Schertz, TX.

We will be raffling a $25.00 gift card at the end of the program-you must be present to win. We will also have a number of cookbooks for sale  titled:” Cooking with eyefoods” @ $ 18.00 ea- this is a fundraiser for the association.
