Event Information

The Macular Degeneration Association (MDA) will host an educational program in beautiful Hauppauge, NY on Saturday, September 21st, 2024. This program will cover the following subjects: All aspects of macular degeneration, geographic atrophy, diabetic eye disease, and dry eye disease.

The program will be held at The Hyatt Regency Long Island Located at 1717 Motor Parkway, Hauppauge, NY – self-parking.

Starting time is 8:30 am with check-in and buffet breakfast and, will end promptly at noon.

The program speaker is Pamela Ann Weber, MD- Dr. Weber is a distinguished member of the Macular Degeneration Association’s Medical Board. Dr. Weber is a graduate of McGill University, Montreal, and Pamela Ann Weber, M.D. went on to Columbia University College of Physicians &Surgeons. Dr. Weber completed her Post-Doctoral training as a Resident in Ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, NY. She completed her Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Disease & Surgery at Schepens Eye Institute, Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary, and Harvard University in Boston. Dr. Weber is a member of the National Register’s Who’s Who, a Castle Conelly Top Doctor, and a Newsday Top Doctor. Dr. Pamela Weber is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and the American Association of Retinal Specialists. Dr. Weber joined the Vitreoretinal Consultants of NY and practices at the following locations Shirley & Commack, NY.
