This engaging program will delve into the latest findings, research breakthroughs, and innovative treatments for age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and geographic atrophy. Our presentations will be led by top experts in the field, committed to sharing their knowledge with you.

Featured Speaker:  Cynthia Cid, O.D., F.A.A.O., will be the presenter at this program. Dr. Cynthia Cid, OD, is an experienced optometrist at Chapel Hills Vision Clinic, specializing in comprehensive eye care and the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases.

She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in 2004 and completed a residency in Ocular Disease, with advanced training in glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic eye disease, and LASIK management. Dr. Cid also holds an Anterior Segment Laser Certification, allowing her to perform laser treatments for conditions such as secondary cataracts and glaucoma. Inspired by volunteer medical missions to Colombia and Guatemala during high school, she developed a passion for helping patients preserve and improve their vision.

Today, she is dedicated to early disease detection, personalized care, and improving long-term visual health for her patients.
