Jessica Cameron OD FAAO is a Florida native and was raised in North Fort Myers. After finishing her degree at Nova Southeastern College of Optometry, she started her career at the optometry clinic at the Veterans Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Shortly after her time at the VA, Dr. Cameron had the privilege of fulfilling a role as educator and clinician at University of Florida and headed the low vision ocular disease clinic at UF Department of Ophthalmology. She lectured to the community and trained ophthalmology residents and medical students on Optics and Low Vision. Dr. Cameron gained experience managing challenging cases at the University of Florida and was happy to return to her hometown in 2022 to raise her family. She finally achieved her career goal of opening her own private optometry office, located in Cape Coral, Florida. Cameron’s Vision office is a family friendly environment and offers routine eye exams from young to old. Dr. Cameron specializes in low vision exams and works with various visual aids to improve the quality of life of those suffering from visual impairment. When Dr. Cameron is out of the office she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter as well as boating with her family.
